Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein expressed regret over Noordin’s death. “I am sad because a life is a life,” he said.

PUTRAJAYA, Sept 18 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak today congratulated the Indonesian authorities for their success in an anti-terrorism raid which killed Malaysian terrorist Noordin Mat Top.
“We congratulate the Indonesian authorities for taking appropriate action to tackle the terrorism threat, and after so long they have succeeded in ending this serious threat,” Najib told reporters.
Clearly, they are going diffent directions.
