USJ18 & USJ13 are neighbours. We are both separated by a longkang (drain) and there is no through road between our 2 neighbourhoods.
The residents of USJ18 wants to erect a perimeter fencing in our own neighbourhood. After a year of ding-dongs, we finally managed to obtain an approval from MPSJ. We could have proceeded but being good neighbours, we informed USJ13 of our intention although we were not obliged to. Knowing that there might be residents who wants access to USJ18, we asked their opinions on where the access gates should be located.
Our friendly neighbour objected with the most illogical reasons. It would be a public insult to them if I were to list the objections here.

Anyway, their ADUN Hannah Yeoh and MPSJ YDP Dato Adnan had to turun padang on a Saturday afternoon to resolve this issue. Both of them were seen shaking their heads when they read USJ13’s objection letter. My ADUN Teresa Kok was represented by her PA, Gary.
I have to admit that I might have pre-judged Hannah. I expected her to stand with her voters from USJ13 but she surprised me by standing on the side of reason and living up to her elections manifesto - OUR FAMILIES SAFETY!
Thank you, YB, for your understanding and for having no objection for us to proceed with our fencing project.

Hope “the only few who objected” from USJ 13 accepted the decision
